Bio and Exhibitions
LIBBY LLOYD (b 1971)
Libby Lloyd was born in Banbury, Oxfordshire. She started her formal Art School education at Portsmouth College of Art and went on to study Fine Art Printmaking at Winchester School of Art, 1991-94. She is currently studying a practice led Fine Art PhD at Aberystwyth University in Wales, 2019 - 2025. Libby was a nominee for the prestigious Queen Sonja Print Award in 2022. Her studio practice moves between Spike Print Studios in the city of Bristol and the School of Art in Aberystwyth. She has exhibited internationally, an elected artist of the Royal Society of Printmakers [RE] and represented by the Bankside Gallery, London. Her work is in the collections of the Ashmolean Museum, Permanent Print Collection, Oxford and the National Artists' Book Collection, Galway, Ireland and private collections.
